OpenHornet Authorized Vendors

Quality parts without closing the plans.

Vendor policy

A commercial path that still protects the project.

OpenHornet is licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 for public project works. Selling parts, designs, or derivatives requires an OpenHornet Authorized Vendor license before using OpenHornet intellectual property outside the public license terms.

Plans remain open

The OHAV program does not replace free access to baseline OpenHornet project files.

Quality and fit matter

Vendors are expected to support quality control, builder accessibility, and fit checked parts.

Derivative work helps

Vendors are encouraged to contribute useful derivative improvements back to the team.

Pricing is direct

OpenHornet does not determine vendor pricing, ordering, or lead times.

Wanted capabilities

The project is especially interested in more vendor coverage.

Current needs include knobs, turn-key PCBs, component builds, partial or full assemblies, and quick-build kits.
